Systematic Energy Management in Karlovac County-SEM project

Systematic Energy Management in Karlovac County-SEM project is being implemented by Karlovac County in partnership with the Italian agency called Agenzia Regionale per I'Edilizia e il Territorio from Abruzzo district. Project, amounting altogether 184.000 euro, is being financed by the Interreg programme.

The project aims to contribute to efficiency of energy utilization increasement and energy consumption reduction in public buildings of Karlovac County by implementing systematic energy management model. This project’s target groups are public institutions established by Karlovac County – hospitals, medical centres, social care centres, nursing homes, pharmacies, primary and secondary schools, a kindergarten, The Institute of Public Health, and County Administration. The final beneficiaries of the project are 3.570 employees in public institutions, 5.494 pupils of primary schools, 5.712 secondary school students and 140.000 citizens of Karlovac County as users of healthcare facilities.
